If I absolutely HAD to chose a speciality, one type of photo session for the rest of my life, I really think I would chose to to photograph girls between the ages of 3 and 10. Maybe its because I have 2 little girls of my own, I don’t know. I just get them, I feel 100% confident in posing them, hanging out with them, and giving them high fives at the end of their sessions.
Graycin was no exception. She showed up in cowboy boots, cut-offs, and a jean shirt tied up in a knot. She was perfect from the moment she stepped out of the car.
We met at Cable, Wisconsin’s Community Garden, which was the perfect backdrop for this session. Chickens, barns, a tractor, tall grass….I really could go on and on about what it offered.
I’m pretty sure that chair was made just for her. She just cozied right up and started reading (REALLY well, I may add).
I love when kids give me the “serious face”. Super model down there! Pink smoke bomb, blue eyes…what more could ya ask for!
I love the country girl look she showed up in! Perfect for the tractor, barn, and chicken coop portions of our shoot!
I’m obsessed with her beautiful profile! She was such a gorgeous little lady!
Graycin, you killed it! I hope you love your portraits as much as I loved hanging out with you!
